Choose a Town

The last time we were together, we went on a virtual field trip around Massachusetts.

At the bottom of this page is a survey that includes all of the places that were on the field trip. Check each one that you have actually seen in real life.

Many of you had other places that you wanted to talk about. Today is your chance to choose a town or city in Massachusetts and write about it. Write as if you are writing a radio or TV commercial. Give lots of details about what there is to see and do and make it sound exciting.

Field Trip

We have just taken a field trip around cities and towns in Massachusetts. Please take the survey at the bottom of this page and click on any of the cities or towns that you have visited in real life.
Once you have submitted the survey, please add a comment to this post telling about one place in Massachusetts. Write as if you were creating an advertisement for that place, and add exciting details to make others want to visit it too.

Hope you enjoyed the field trip

We have just taken a virtual field trip around Massachusetts. You will find a survey at the bottom of this page which lists the cities and towns that are in the presentation. Click each of the cities and towns that you have visited.
After completing the survey, go to the Comments section of this post and write a paragraph about a city or town in Massachusetts that you have visited. Include lots of details about things to do there and make it sound like an advertisement. Your city or town does not need to be in the list, but must be in Massachusetts.

Welcome back!

On the right I have posted a list of links that follow the route of our field trip. Today you will be taking one of those links to visit a place you have not seen in person. While you are reading, your task is to find at least three interesting facts which you will use to create your own PowerPoint presentation. You will also copy one picture to use in the presentation. Be sure to copy and paste the URL to give credit to your source!

A Field Trip Around Massachusetts

I have just shown a PowerPoint presentation featuring about twenty Massachusetts cities and towns. Some of them may be familiar to you, while others are new.
Please share a city or town in Massachusetts that you have visited. Give enough specific details so that others might want to see this place too. Remember to post only about things to do and places to see in Massachusetts. Although we would love to hear about your ski trip to Vermont or the fun you had at Disney World, this is not the place for that.
